"DAMASCUS - The Syrian president Bachar al-Assad accused on Sunday Israel of wanting to destabilize and weaken Syria, after the Israeli air raid which aimed on Wednesday at military installations near Damascus."
"Having been subjected to pressures, by the Syrian army, the terrorists, in Alep, took for targets of their mortar shells, certain calm quarters, as Bab-al-Nasr and al-Halak, killing 15 citizens and hurting 25 of them. These acts follow on the death of certain terrorist commanders, killed, by the army, in Haïa al-Kalassa. In this frame, some hours before, the Syrian army, supported by the people of al-Hamidia, followed a group of terrorists, by killing 9 of them. At the same time, the Syrian army succeeded in discovering and grabbing, close to Seif al-Doula, a warehouse of weapon and ammunitions."
African news agency, Ankara, May 7th, 2013: The Turkish Prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan reported on Tuesday the Israeli raids aiming at Syria, qualifying them as unacceptable. No pretext can justify this operation, he said during a speech to the Parliament, asking the United Nations to act to end attacks.
