Designing services

Our adagium comes from the management writer Herbert Simon, who stated that Designing services One of the misunderstandings of these days is that a designer has an artist or artisan background. In that approach designers are idea generators, visualizers and prototypers. That is not our point of view. Our adagium comes from the management writer Herbert Simon, who stated that "Everyone designs who devises courses of action  aimed at changing existing into preferred ones".  As stated by others, this version of design tends to abstraction and general expertise. The focus of this blog is service and services. In our world  service is exchanged for service. All firms are service firms; all markets are centered on the exchange of service, and all economies and societies are service based. And just even government and other institutions are always exchanging services for services. But be sure, in this era of change there is a heavy focus also on concept generation, visualization and digital concept and prototypes. Interested in designing services? 10 skills a digital marketing professional MUST have to succeed

10 skills a digital marketing professional MUST have to succeed | Designing services | Scoop.it

“ Being a digital marketer means understanding the nuances of the new web paradigms and how they interact. It’s about knowing about how each of the social and digital channels operate and interact with each other and the synergies that creates. It raises questions. How different should my Facebook post be to my Twitter or Instagram tactics? What priority should I put on email marketing? How does my content marketing help build my search engine optimisation? So, what are the skills a digital marketing professional needs to succeed?”

The Expertise Gap is Real and Employees Need Your Attention Now

The Expertise Gap is Real and Employees Need Your Attention Now | Designing services | Scoop.it
The biggest challenge is not in the understanding or expertise associated with new technology. We can learn that. The biggest problem is our inability to recognize that the experience we have today is not the experience we need going forward.
A notable separation exists between the expertise people have or are learning and the jobs companies need to hire for in an increasingly digital economy. This means that current employees possess expertise to perform jobs that are losing prominence in business while new jobs openings (or the need to create them) are becoming increasingly difficult to fill.
