Designing New Learning Environment

What are the consideration we shoul take before designing better learning environments?

Enough talking people.  After skimming through forums, profiles, post etc. I started walking in circles around my house (literally). Somehow, I found myself looking at a wall where this art work is hanging from.

It totally hit me: this is how I’ve felt on the first week at the DNLE course. Does anyone can relate with this feeling?

Although I am not formally trained in the arts, I grew up in a home with great appreciation for the arts, among them music, dance and visual arts. So for me arts is a very relevant part in my life.

As an educator, it is only natural for me to relay on the arts when opening a class or starting a new lesson, and concluding and producing student's work.

I follow this basic criteria:  I never give away the art work's title;  rather I let students to either figure it out or come up with a new one. In addition,  I don't share the artist's name, school or time period so students can do further exploration and not have preconceived ideas on the artist's philosophy, intent or motivation in creating the art.
