A report about “Interactive Learning Online” or simply online learning, based on interviews to more than 25 different public and private North-American universities/colleges.
A curious aspect: researchers had to invent a term for “online learning” since they felt the need to work with a widely accepted definition. Their working expression was “Interactive Learning Online”.
Of particular interest are the following parts of the report:
- The Current State of Online Learning;
- Obstacles to the Widespread Adoption of Online Education;
- Strategies for Overcoming Obstacles to the Introduction of Online Courses
