They can make better decisions with immediate feedback and clear insight made possible through complete visibility into design and project Performance.
Initial CONNECT Edition releases include:
MicroStation, our flagship application for modeling and documentation, leads the way for the CONNECT Edition generation of software from Bentley. Highlights include a streamlined and personalized user experience, native support for ContextCapture models, functional components, and the documentation center for the automated production of intelligent design and construction deliverables.
Navigator, the "issues resolution app-lication", delivers model-based information visibility. Navigator CONNECT Edition highlights include a consistent touch-enabled experience across many types of desktop and mobile devices, model-based visual reporting, and issue resolution capabilities for users in the office, on-site, or in the field.
ProjectWise, a leading platform for information management and collaboration for infrastructure professionals, offers a host of advancements in the CONNECT Edition. Available immediately is ProjectWise Design Integration, our project collaboration offering for work in process engineering. The CONNECT Edition of ProjectWise Design Integration will support both CONNECT Edition and V8i applications, allowing our accounts to immediately take advantage of its new capabilities.
ProjectWise is also being extended with cloud based CONNECTION Services, several of which are available immediately. Our users will significantly improve collaboration within distributed organizations through the use of CONNECTED Projects, link cooperating teams with ProjectWise Project Sharing, and gain visibility into project performance with ProjectWise Project Performance Dashboards. Additional CONNECTION Services will be available in the coming months, including ProjectWise Deliverables Management which will expand the collaborative footprint to the entire project ecosystem.
All CONNECT Edition releases, including those that will ship in the coming months, will take advantage of additional cloud services. Some of the key cloud capabilities will include a personal portal to access learning, communities, and project activity, as well as the ability to share personal files including i-models and PDFs. Users and project teams can see project details required to evaluate project activity and understand project performance.
