Le cabinet Enerdata a diffusé ce matin son analyse des chiffres de l'énergie du monde en 2014. Ou plus exactement ceux du G20, qui représentent à eux seuls 80% du total mondial.

Une année avec «quelques éléments de surprise» note le président d'Enerdata Pascal Charriau. Alors que la croissance du PIB mondial est restée assez élevée, avec 3,5%, celle de l'énergie n'a pas suivi, avec 0,3% seulement, tandis que les émissions de CO2 liées à l'énergie et au ciment ont carrément diminué, même si c'est de très peu avec -0,2%.

On 18 April 2014, Gazprom loaded the first cargo of oil produced from the Prirazlomnoye field, the only Russian project for hydrocarbons development in the Arctic shelf, located in the Pechora Sea, 60 km off the shore. German utilities E.ON and RWE are considering selling their stakes in Enovos, Luxembourg's main electricity and gas supplier (also active in Germany, France and Belgium). RWE owns a 18.36% interest in the company, while E.ON owns 10% (other private shareholders are AXA Private Equity with 23.48% and GDF SUEZ with 4.71%). In 2012, Enovos sold 9.5 TWh of electricity and 4.6 TWh of gas.

RWE Innogy is seeking a new partner to develop the 340 MW Galloper offshore wind project in the United Kingdom, one month after SSE announced its withdrawal from the project.
