Dans un récent arrêt (C-131/12, 13 mai 2014), la Cour de justice de l'Union européenne a estimé que certains utilisateurs ont le droit de demander aux moteurs de recherche de supprimer des résultats de recherche qui incluent leur nom, lorsque le droit à la protection de la vie privée des individus prévaut sur l'intérêt de présenter ces résultats de recherches.
