A strategic focus on information literacy teaching that involves collaboration in the teaching of info skills, from educational designers, academics, IT staff and librarians. Needs buy in from the academic community which is not always easy to get. Delete the scoop?

I completely agree with this post. I fully integrated it into one of my courses last year. Students had to choose a potential future career and create a scoop.it page to help them learn about that field. Most feedback was positive. A few students still use it seven months after the grades have been turned in!

I am a big fan of Scoop.it. It adds value to my professional career. I find so many things that I am interested in. It is fun for me to try to understand the algorythm. I believe that curation will be a powerful tool for our future. Delete the scoop?
