These are great posters about bullying to use in your schools.  We can print these posters at CESA 5 if you are interested.

This is an interesting representation about "safebook/facebook" and the ways in which one should share information. It shows people the ways in which to be safe while on facebook. The poster shows how you should think about what your posting before you post it. It reminds you to always be kind to others and to connect only with people that you know. Privacy is also very important. Make sure your settings on your facebook are very private. It also shows that people should report bullying and not just let it go. Bullying is a big problem, especially on social media.

Defining Bullying Down

Defining Bullying Down | cyber bullying enough is enough | Scoop.it
The word “bullying” is overused — expanding, accordionlike, to encompass both appalling violence or harassment and a few mean words.

All the misdiagnosis of bullying is making the real but limited problem seem impossible to solve. If every act of aggression counts as bullying, how can we stop it? Down this road lies the old assumption that bullying is a rite of childhood passage. But that’s wrong.

Bullying is a particular form of harmful aggression, linked to real psychological damage, both short and long term. There are concrete strategies that can succeed in addressing it — and they all begin with shifting the social norm so that bullying moves from being shrugged off to being treated as unacceptable. But we can’t do that if we believe, and tell our children, that it’s everywhere.

article is awful, plays into patriarchal narratives of those who play victim, blah! blah!. There is an issue when a child claims bullying, child must be assisted and not accused of playing victim. If child is suffering for other reasons, deal with them, do not label it victimhood
