Stampsy is a new iPad app for creating digital content. The steps are easy to follow - add images and text to your page using drag-and-drop method. Change colours or fonts, and design the page as you like. The result you'll get is a linear presentation with great visual potential, perfect for storytelling purposes. There is a small inconvenience though - you will need a Facebook account to use the application. The app is free. Download it here https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/stampsy/id582398120?mt=8

Stampsy is an interesting graphic tool currently for the iPad. It has a few necessry tools such as Headline, Text, Images, Colour Palette, Various Fonts, and best of all it is limited to 10 pages. If Powerpoints were limited to 10 pages I wonder how much real information would be lost? No doubt we'd see the important information. Check it out.

Players simply design their level by hand, creating any traps or obstacles they want the avatar to surmount while climbing five stories and reaching the goal. Pixel Press uses proprietary character recognition to allow the iPad's camera to pick up the sketches and convert them to graphic elements in the level. Maybe this is something that you've always wanted to do? Have your iPad apps organized in alphabetical order. This would be a nightmare for me (a visual learner) as more often than not I don't necessarily know the name of the app but I know what the icon looks like (or the folder that I have put it into). I choose to organize my apps into folders eg ABC's, Word Work, Nurturing Thinking etc. Keep in mind though I use my device predominantly for 'modelling' and to inform others so I have hundreds (did I say hundreds.....my 64gb device is almost full AGAIN).
If though, you have individual devices assigned to your classroom that are not jam packed with too many Apps, this may be just the thing for you!

I must admit that I prefer to organise my apps under folders according to type, (though there are times that this system also 'lets me down'). This could be a useful strategy for user who have quite a few screens of apps.

I definitely understand - my 32 GB iPad is completely full. I have to keep deleting and reinstalling the apps that I do need to use.

UC Irvine’s pioneering medical school program put an iPad loaded with books, apps and notes covering the first year of curriculum in the hands of 104 incoming medical students a few months after Apple debuted the devices in 2010.
Apple last week singled out UC Irvine’s trailblazing iMedEd Initiative as a distinguished program for its use of the company’s tablets.
