Googleable vs Non-Googleable Questions

Googleable vs Non-Googleable Questions | Curriculum resource reviews | Scoop.it
'Essential questions' are all too often lower order. And not that essential.

When we're working with schools on our Design Thinking School programme, one of the easiest ways to explain what we're looking for in the way a project is set, is whether the statement or questions being asked can be Googled easily: is this a Googleable or Not Googleable topic?

Karen Bonanno's insight:

Tina Jameson's curator insight, September 3, 7:31 PM

Very engaging app that is seemed to be aimed at younger students at first - but when you start to explore there are just so many videos on so many topics - the scope is vast.  All searchable by keyword.  (So under environment top hits included 'Design a green car', 'Surfers save the ocean', 'life of a plastic bag' as well as the younger looking 'should we eat bugs?'

The app is free to download and has no in app purchases.  Students are 'rewarded' with coins when they watch videos or create something.  They can also share their 'creations' with friends / family through a 'wonderbox' email.
