The Thai government has shut down. This is not unlike what happened in the United States in October 2013

 

Important points:

-Traffic is being disrupted by protestors

-Cautions have been issued to foreigners regarding travel

- Talks are proposed to resolve the issues of the government but none have taken place yet.

 

The goal of protest is to get rid of the influences of the past prime minister and their family that has ruled or influnced the rule of the country since 2001.

Israel's defence minister apologises for comments deemed "offensive" by the US about Secretary of State John Kerry's Mid-East peace initiative.

The US reprimands their ally Isreal after the defense minister Moshe Yaalon said the US Secretary of Defense, John Kerry was acting out of "misplaced obsession and messianic fervour".

 

The prime minister issued an apology soon after saying he did not intend to offend Kerry.
