SEO Daily Rocks Future of SEO With Excellent Paper.li

SEO Daily Rocks Future of SEO With Excellent Paper.li | Curation Revolution | Scoop.it

Future of SEO
Pay particular attention to the Future of SEO post in SEO Daily's excellent Paper.li because they have it just right. We riffed on this idea of THEMES and TOPICS not keywords yesterday on Curagami (http://www.curagami.com/ecommerce/future-of-shopping-ebay-r-j-pitman-and-motif-hardeep-walia/ ).

Keywords can't DESCRIBE ideas. Keywords don't understand context, idiom or snarkyness. The next web is about meaning, emotion and connection. This means spiders have to use whats at hand, context, to understand sentiment and meaning.

Think of owning TOPICS instead of keyword positions. Shift your thinking to the border between your ideas and theirs. In that border real "intellectual property" exists, can be mined and spun into gold. IF you think more broadly than WORDS and POSITION.

OH, & thanks for including our Connection Is The New Ecommerce Haiku Deck: http://shar.es/1n6LOA

50 Great Content Curators - Paper.li's Kelly Hungerford - via @CrowdFunde | Curation Revolution | Scoop.it

50 Great Content Curators
Another #mustfollow if you believe as we do that community will be the next big skirmish line in Internet marketing (read Ouch! 3 Ways To Avoid The Coming Community Shock on Curatti.com http://curatti.com/3-ways-avoid-community-shock/ ). Kelly is a great community manager for one of our favorite get more done with less social media marketing tools - Paper.li.

Just like with Ally, Scoop.it's community Manager Ally Greer and one of our top 50 Content Curators too ( http://www.crowdfunde.com/great-content-curator-ally-greer/ ) there is a lot to learn from in following Kelly.

Watch the variety of topics she discusses on the Paper.li community (linked on the post) and learn how to mesh content to support your online branding via content curation.

Haiku Deck & Scoopit Examples Of New SaaS Development Model

Haiku Deck & Scoopit Examples Of New SaaS Development Model | Curation Revolution | Scoop.it

Working hard on a SaaS set of publishing tools and was analyzing what it takes to "cross the chasm" from unknown SaaS to successful, well loved tool. Here is what I found:

* Critical that a new tool create community.
* Haiku Deck demonstrates this idea with their feature gallery:
http://www.haikudeck.com/gallery/featured and Scoop.it with their posting wall.
* Community must scale in size and diversity.
* Diversity creates community "intelligence".
* Community intelligence helps monetize.
* Money helps create new tools.
* New tools help build community faster.
and so on creating a positive virtual cycle.

Tools can solve a problem like Haiku Deck (easy access to creative commons), plant a flag on an emerging trend (Scoop.it and Paper.li) and mashup scaled systems such as ZipCar.com.

Why Paperli Rocks Redux

Why Paperli Rocks Redux | Curation Revolution | Scoop.it

Content Marketing Tools For Startups
I didn't write this post with #Startups in mind, but I could have. Startups wrestle with content marketing. I suggest these content marketing tools for any startup:

* Paper.li

* Scoop.it
* Google Analytics
* Google Adwords
* Google Plus
* Twitter
* A Blog (WordPress)

It is possible to change the world with those seven tools.

The linked post explains how I use Paper.li for everything from spidering the social web to reputation management. If you are a startup and don't know what either of those ideas are, trust me you will and I promise to post more about content marketing for startups soon.

Martin (Marty) Smith's insight:

Friends @Smallrivers (Paper.li) made my day today and it was HARD day, so thought I would run this scoop about why Paper.li ROCKS back up the flagpole along with my thanks.

nonprofits of small and medium size are distinctly and significantly similar to start-ups. They can similarly utilize these content curation tools, especially nonprofit arts looking for online impact.
