LOVE, MILLENNIAL STYLE | Culturational Chemistry™ | Scoop.it

Who do millennials love? What do millennials love? How do millennials love? All questions that many organizations and brands have thought about and are seeking answers to. REMEMBERING TO WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY

REMEMBERING TO WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY | Culturational Chemistry™ | Scoop.it
To get to the top of your mountain you have to walk through the valley. The key however, is remembering that you’re walking “through” the valley. You can’t ever get to the top of your mountain if you set up camp and make permanent residence in the valley.

Want to Know What Millennials Want? Just Ask Them

Want to Know What Millennials Want? Just Ask Them | Culturational Chemistry™ | Scoop.it
A survey of millennials finds, among other things, that Generation Y wants to be mobile and they don’t expect you to pay for it. But you better have a BYOD policy in place to support these consumer-tech-happy workers.

TOO DEEP TO RETREAT

TOO DEEP TO RETREAT | Culturational Chemistry™ | Scoop.it
I run 4 miles every other morning. I don’t necessarily run because it’s fun, although I enjoy it in a love-hate kind of way. I run because I want the results that it produces. When I first started this running ritual, it was a choice that I had to make every other morning at 6am. It’s no longer a choice; it’s a commitment.

THE PROGRESS YOU DON’T SEE | Culturational Chemistry™ | Scoop.it
Just because you don’t always see the progress, that doesn't mean progress isn't taking place. This is a revelation that all successful entrepreneurs have had at some point on their journey. This is also a principle that I strongly encourage all aspiring entrepreneurs to adopt.

The Unhappy Rise Of The Millennial Intern

The Unhappy Rise Of The Millennial Intern | Culturational Chemistry™ | Scoop.it
As the internship application season heats up, these 20-somethings are scouring job boards for the right internship that will get them into the careers of their dreams. Famously confident of their eventual success, Millennials don’t move on to alternative career choices in response to adversity—as many young Boomers and Xers would have done. The problem is, all too many of these internships do little or nothing for those who take them.

PRESERVING THE WILL TO WIN

PRESERVING THE WILL TO WIN | Culturational Chemistry™ | Scoop.it
Having a strong will can be a gift and a curse. Strong-willed people are usually driven and determined to accomplish whatever it is they want to accomplish. Strong-willed people can also be so focused on doing things their way that they miss out on the joys and benefits of learning new and better ways of doing things.

KEEPING YOUR “WHO” CONNECTED | Culturational Chemistry™ | Scoop.it
Who are you? As simple as that question is, I’ve grown to realize that the answer to that question is not that easy for many of you to answer. Most of you are still figuring out who you are in your adolescent years. And once you’ve finally figured out who you are, you can easily forget who you are and lose yourself along the way in your latter years.

TODAY’S CHOICES PREVENT TOMORROW’S REGRETS

TODAY’S CHOICES PREVENT TOMORROW’S REGRETS | Culturational Chemistry™ | Scoop.it
We’ve all heard the advice of “living your life with no regrets”. This is great advice but it’s also easier said than done. The reality is that you will make mistakes in life and some of those you will cause you to feel remorseful and make you wish you had a do-over. The key, however, is to limit those events to isolated incidents and not to lead a life full of regrets.
