Critical Chain training several times per year in Paris France

Critical Chain training several times per year in Paris France | Critical Chain Project Management | Scoop.it
Initial training (1 day):
Why traditional project management fails. What is the Critical Chain way? The 3 components: Planning; Execution and On-going improvement. A dozen recent cases presented. Software selection. Implementation strategies.

Advanced training (1 day):
If you have followed the initial CCPM course and/or you have some experience of using Critical Chain this course is designed for you. How can we deal with "gaps" in a Critical Chain? Which granularity should be applied to tasks? How can we strengthen risk management? How do we choose the right Critical Chain, rather than only observing its existence? Do you dare to finish all your projects on time!?

Over 600 people have been trained by Marris Consulting in the past 5 years including: ArcelorMittal, Areva, Arkema, Autoliv, Bayer, Bosch, GSK, Ipsen, Jaeger LeCoultre, Lilly, Novartis, Pierre Fabre, Procter & Gamble, Safran, Saint-Gobain, Schlumberger, Siemens, SKF, Thales, Visteon, Yves Rocher & Zodiac Aerospace …

With Critical Chain you can simultaneously execute your projects about 40% faster, improve productivity by over 50% and finish nearly all of them on time.

... Traditionally, Domain-Driven Design has encouraged use of language as a way to identify the boundaries between things that change together. Whilst language is still a key heuristic, there are many others, in particular the flow of work through an organisation. Subsequently, by supplementing the design of teams and services with the the goal of eliminating bottlenecks in an organisation, Theory of Constraints provides a powerful mindset for determining good microservice and team boundaries.

Seriously, are you still using Critical Path?  - Post by Jaco Laubscher - Realization Africa

Seriously, are you still using Critical Path?  - Post by Jaco Laubscher - Realization Africa | Critical Chain Project Management | Scoop.it
I am not sure how to describe the emotions I experience when somebody sends me a project plan that is clearly still using techniques developed in 1943. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that everything developed in 1943 should be discarded. Mick Jagger and Robert de Niro were both born in 1943, but they have grown and changes over the last 74 years, as did most of techniques and technology that was developed during the 1940’s. So, why is project management still stuck in the year Jacques Cousteau developed his first “Aqualung”, BMW still made airplane engines and Winston Churchill was prime minister of the UK?

Currently, CCPM is the way business is conducted at FRC East and Southeast; FRC Southwest is in the last stages of CCPM implementation; FRC West and FRC Mid-Atlantic Norfolk have begun to incorporate the approach into its production lines. ...

Aurora-CCPM Critical Chain Project Management Software

Aurora-CCPM Critical Chain Project Management Software | Critical Chain Project Management | Scoop.it

Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) is more powerful and resource-driven than Critical Path Project Management. CCPM is based on methods and algorithms derived from the Theory of Constraints. The Critical Chain is the sequence of both precedence- and resource-dependent tasks that prevents a project from being completed in a shorter time, given finite resources. If (non-human) resources are always available in unlimited quantities, then a project’s Critical Chain is identical to its Critical Path. ...
