Police brutality wave hits Dallas

Published on Jul 26, 2012 by RTAmerica

While protests continue in Anaheim, California where an unarmed man was shot and killed over the weekend, a new incident with the same outcome has occurred in Dallas, Texas. Hundreds of protesters have flooded the streets of South Dallas to demand justice for James Harper. Harper became yet another unarmed victim of police brutality after he was shot and killed by Dallas PD. According to reports, this incident marks the fourteenth occurrence in the Texas city and Charles Goodman, a member of Guerrilla Mainframe, joins us on the recent police brutality wave that has hit America.

Chamberlain’s Son, Lawyers Pleased With Officer’s Suspension

Chamberlain’s Son, Lawyers Pleased With Officer’s Suspension | Criminal Justice in America | Scoop.it

Though the family of Kenneth Chamberlain Sr. is thankful White Plains is holding an officer accountable in the fatal shooting incident of the 68-year-old, they are looking for stronger measures to be taken.

“It’s a step in the right direction, although it’s been nine months,” said the former Marine’s son, Kenneth Chamberlain Jr.

The White Plains Public Safety Department announced Tuesday that Officer Steven Hart was suspended without out pay, pending an investigation into alleged misconduct on Nov. 19 at 135 S. Lexington Ave. where Chamberlain was shot by White Plains Police responding to Chamberlain’s medical alert device.

Hart allegedly called Chamberlain the “n-word” during the incident.

Gun control is a fool’s errand.

The cities and states with the toughest gun laws typically have the worst gun violence. In Chicago and Washington, DC, two cities with the toughest gun laws and restrictions in America, people have routinely been gunned down. The only people with firearms were the ones unwilling to obey the law.

Arizona Governor Militarized Border Drug Lords

Arizona Governor Militarized Border Drug Lords | Criminal Justice in America | Scoop.it

The Federal Government should designate Mexican drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations under U.S. law according to Sheriff Paul Babeu of Pinal County Arizona which is situated close to the U.S. border with Mexico. Sheriff Babeu reiterated that the U.S. Government needs to deploy military advisors and special forces units to the border in support of the both state and county law enforcement agencies in the concrete fight back against organized crime and the tragic violence that ensues. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is understood to have stated that the situation in Mexico was looking “more and more” like Colombia of two decades ago, “where the narco-traffickers controlled certain parts of the country.” Finally Sheriff Babeu warned that the further destabilization of the Mexican government will open the border for criminal elements to come in and buy their way into the United States which should now be regarded as a serious national security issue to be confronted with the committed support of the mighty U.S. military industrial complex.

Honoring The Oath. Defending The Constitution. | Against All Enemies | Criminal Justice in America | Scoop.it

“Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.” -Mao Tse-tung

Our forefathers fought a bloody revolution to secure “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,” for their posterity.

And yet, once again we face “a long train of abuses and usyprations”-such as the PATRIOT Act; Section 1021 of the NDAA (authorizing military detention, trial by military tribunal, and extraordinary rendition of U.S. citizens); Obama’s secret “snuff list” and assassination program; the cancerous growth of the DHS; the increasing domestic use of the NSA and CIA; the creation of NORTHCOM; the militarization and nationalization of local police, etc.-all “pursuing invariably the same Object,” evincing a design to reduce us “under absolute despotism.”

'What?' Confused 911 caller outs NYPD spying in NJ

'What?' Confused 911 caller outs NYPD spying in NJ | Criminal Justice in America | Scoop.it

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) — It's an audiotape the New York Police Department hoped you would never hear.

A building superintendent at an apartment complex just off the Rutgers University campus called the New Brunswick Police 911 line in June 2009. He said his staff had been conducting a routine inspection and came across something suspicious.
"What's suspicious?" the dispatcher asked.
"Suspicious in the sense that the apartment has about — has no furniture except two beds, has no clothing, has New York City Police Department radios."
"Really?" the dispatcher asked, her voice rising with surprise.
The caller, Salil Sheth, had stumbled upon one of the NYPD's biggest secrets: a safe house, a place where undercover officers working well outside the department's jurisdiction could lie low and coordinate surveillance. Since the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, the NYPD, with training and guidance from the CIA, has monitored the activities of Muslims in New York and far beyond. Detectives infiltrated mosques, eavesdropped in cafes and kept tabs on Muslim student groups, including at Rutgers.

Kim Dotcom - Mr President ~ I LOVE IT!!! ~ Fantastic message! 5 Stars! :)

United we stand, divided we fall.
Let's all be friends. Let's all unite.

This song was produced by Kim Dotcom, Printz Board and Sleep Deez.
With lyrics and vocals by Kim Dotcom and friends.

The lyrics:

The war for the Internet has begun.
Hollywood is in control of politics.
The Government is killing innovation.
Don't let them get away with that.

I have a dream, like Dr. King,
this is the time to stand up and fight.

By any means, if we dont do anything,
they will just blame it on the copyright.

Keep this movement going.
Keep this movement tweeting.
Keep this movement moving.

The pursuit of happiness.
Happiness. Happiness. Happiness.
The pursuit of happiness.

Let's get together, lets all unite,
or they will do whatever they like.

Let's get together, lets all unite,
or they will do whatever they like.

What about free speech, Mr. President?
What happened to change, Mr. President?
Are you pleading the fifth, Mr. President?
Are you going to fix this, Mr. President?

We must oppose, don't vote for those,
who want to take us back in time.

We must expose, the people who chose,
to turn innovation into crime.

Let's get together, lets all unite,
or they will do whatever they like.

Let's get together, lets all unite,
or they will do whatever they like.

What about free speech, Mr. President?
What happened to change, Mr. President?
Are you pleading the fifth, Mr. President?
Are you going to fix this, Mr. President?

Hollywood marionettes,
taking over our Internet,
don't let them get away with that,
don't let them get away with that.

It starts with you and me
we will make history.

It starts with you and me
we will make history.

Let's get together, lets all unite,
or they will do whatever they like.

Let's get together, lets all unite,
or they will do whatever they like.

What about free speech, Mr. President?
What happened to change, Mr. President?
Are you pleading the fifth, Mr. President?
Are you going to fix this, Mr. President?
