Tampa, Florida -- The man who some call a "trigger happy trooper" is facing another legal battle.
10 News has learned that the family of an unarmed teenage girl tasered by Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Daniel Cole just over two years ago has now filed a lawsuit against him.
Danielle Maudsley was in handcuffs when she tried to run from Trooper Cole in September of 2011. She fell back and hit her head after being tasered by Cole, which left her in a vegetative state.
She died this past September.
