Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn't really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That's because they were able to connect experiences they've had and synthesize new things. - Steve Jobs Creativity today is the backbone of Digital Industry; Creativity helps individuals and businesses to build their brands offline and online. Imagination teaches important life skills

Imagination teaches important life skills | Creativity Conest | Scoop.it

Life rarely turns out exactly the way we imagined it would, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. After all, if life were perfect, what would there be to hope for? Perhaps one of the most important life skills any of us can possess is our ability to imagine possibilities, both in good times and bad.

James Dean once wrote, "I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can always adjust my sails to reach my destination."

Some call that optimism. Others call that positive thinking. Either way, one can't be an optimist or a positive thinker without imagination, and the best time to plant that seed and allow it to blossom is in childhood. In addition to free play, reading books together plays an important role in that pursuit.

If enough of us can imagine a better world, perhaps that's what we'll have. I think it's worth a try, don't you?
