OGDEN, Utah – Twenty librarians in the Ogden School District could be out of a job.

I'm not a school librarian. I'm not a teacher, either. Our district hasn't has librarians in the 13 years I've been here. I do my best, but I'd love to work with a teacher librarian someday. Good advice here on how to keep what you've got! Delete the scoop?

Great idea! Have you ever done the toilet door to tell students about new books? You have a targeted audience that have nothing else to read :) I know it's slightly different but just thought I'd mention it.

I think I'll try this with books that cover the last grading period content. Research is the big push in our curriculum the last 6 weeks and there isn't enough of the library/librarian to go around. Perhaps some of the teachers will choose to use the books from the library in their classrooms instead of going to the computer labs. (There aren't enough of them to go around either.)
