Some of the most creative minds of all time have faced very high levels of social rejection and isolation. Of course, it's also possible that the unconventionality of creative people causes them to be social outsiders.

The worst enemy of creativity is self-doubt,” wrote Sylvia Plath in her journal. And she couldn’t have been more accurate. Self-doubt can persuade us to stop creating or keep us from sending our work out into the world.
Even though the artist creator is targeted here, there are important suggestions at the end of the blogpost to consider if you feel blocked.

Love #1. It is the power of the stories we tell ourselves that determine who we become.
"1. Remember self-doubt is a story. As Davidson said, thinking you’re not good at something doesn’t make it true. Her art teacher triggered her self-doubt, but it was the stories spinning in Davidson’s mind that stopped her from creating. And these disempowering tales were clearly distorted." Delete the scoop?

Have you ever felt like a ship at sea without a destination plan? I mean ... like you are "just existing" and life really doesn't have a meaning??? I would venture to say "feeling that way" is an indication that you probably don't have a "compass" for your life -- a directional instrumental that let's you know when (and if) you have strayed off course. You're on a journey -- this thing we call life -- but you don't have a plan. Without a plan, you can get turnaround and sometimes discover that you have lost yourself in the process of living. I have found that a life plan is a wonderful tool! It is filled with your hopes, dreams and desires; it is centered around YOU. With a life plan as a guide, life is filled with bliss!!
