Teenagers look at a commercial for the internet from the 90's, demonstrating the difference in understanding how the technology works, but also how our current teenagers take the use of internet for granted. The #yesallwomen hashtag has logged many pages of commentary and revelations. It is sad to see how many of us have experienced this fear--it is global. It is unsettling. It is important to have this conversation with everyone, and change the course of behavior. How does this affect learning, self esteem, growth? That is the question we should be asking ourselves, not just for us but for our daughters and grand-daughters. Then let's think of the global impact of doing nothing: what is the impact on global economies and more importantly, humanity?
