As a content marketer, you have probably heard the call for us all to become brand storytellers. While this sounds great in theory, the tricky part for many companies is determining how to develop these stories in the first place.

 

There are no hard-and-fast rules for developing your brand’s stories, but you can go back and look at classic storytelling and structure as a helpful map to guide you. For example, the classic “hero’s journey” from Joseph Campbell’s, The Hero with a Thousand Faces, outlines what he calls the “monomyth” — which is a pattern that many believe can be found in almost every narrative around the world.

Uno de los mayores consejos que se les da a los emprendedores cuando se plantean lanzar al mercado una empresa es viajar a otros países, empaparse de otras culturas y comparar lo que han visto, con la situación en su país de origen para detectar nuevas oportunidades de negocio.

Estamos totalmente de acuerdo con este consejo y con la infografía para emprendedores que publicamos hoy en EmprendePymes. Y es que, como bien dice esta infografía, las ideas vienen de las experiencias de los emprendedores, el procesamiento de esas experiencias y un ejercicio de comparación con las ideas preexistentes, creencias o tradiciones del emprendedor.

Este articulo me parece que tiene mucha razón ya que el hecho de relacionarte con otras personas con culturas diferentes te abre la mente, te permite ver mas alla y de esta manera crear ideas mas abiertas

La conclusión a la que llega éste infograma es en mi opinión un poco parecida a la conclusión del texto sobre las ideas que subió Gerardo. Las ideas no llegan por sentado a nosotros, es en base a nuestras experiencias, a los conceptos que adquirimos por medio de nuestros sentidos, que adecuamos nuestro conocimiento. Y son todos estos conceptos que en base a las experiencias adquieren un significado.

This article gives great tips on how to market your brand effectively using Vine. Vine only gives you 6 seconds to post what you want to post so it is a bit of a challenge. According to this article you want to make sure you show off your brand, send a message to your customers, encourage your fans to contribute, leverage existing video content, become a journalist, and explain a concept in order to create a successful Vine. In my opinion, encouraging your fans to contribute is the most important part about Vine. The article gives an example of creating a contest through Vine. I think that is a great idea because people like to be creative and they like to win things. Engaging them into doing something fun will increase the likelihood that they shop your brand.

We were all in awe of Coca Cola's Content 2020 marketing vision. We may not have understood all of it, but it sounded like the future.

 

But that was before Red Bull's Felix Baumgartner jumped from a balloon and made Coke's efforts look a little, err... dull.
