10 Extremely Beautiful Websites for Your Inspiration

10 Extremely Beautiful Websites for Your Inspiration | Creative_me | Scoop.it

Browsing the Internet is fun. Aside from the seemingly limitless information that is available for the taking, you could see art concocted with usability almost everywhere. Web designers have immensely evolved in their creative means to get through you.

Alessandro Rea's insight:

They have devised new designs to make the content of the website juggle with its design. This makes their clients and the market of their clients benefit from the art and the content that is spilled beautifully in the canvas of the World Wide Web.

But the clients and the market are not the only people who benefit from this artistic explosion. Other web designers also benefit from this. The inspiration that has overflowed on the Internet has made a lot of artists do better, and learning, in this particular case, is through modelling.

These 11 Ads Are So Good, You'll Forget They're Ads

These 11 Ads Are So Good, You'll Forget They're Ads | Creative_me | Scoop.it

Today, promotional messages try to reach us pretty much 24/7. As we move about our lives, marketers and advertisers are constantly fighting for our attention -- and because of that, we've become pretty intolerant of interruptive promotional messages.

People don’t want to hear a bunch of buzzwords, see an array of cliché images, or watch another talented celebrity be used as a prop or a mere endorsement. If an ad hopes to keep people's attention during a commercial break, it needs to make people believe that it will be more engaging than whatever else they could be doing during the intermission. In essence, it has to be more than an ad.

The following "ads" are ones that fit that bill. They use a combination of storytelling, shared personal experiences, and/or some intangible wow-factor to provide viewers with a highly emotional and entertaining experience. They are so engaging that they can actually compel you to pause your regularly scheduled programs to pay more attention to them. In short ... they don't feel like ads at all.

Will Your Idea Actually Work? 5 Questions That'll Help You Find Out [Infographic] | Creative_me | Scoop.it

"If you build it, they will come." ... But will they? I love Field of Dreams as much as the next person, but content marketers should never heed this advice. Just because you publish content related to your industry doesn't mean it'll automatically become successful.

So how do you figure out what'll work and what won't? You've got to ask yourself the right questions, and be prepared to give brutally honest answers. Before you execute your idea, ask yourself the following five questions from this Column Five infographic.

15 Creative and Delicious Ways to Use Kiwi and Grapefruit

15 Creative and Delicious Ways to Use Kiwi and Grapefruit | Creative_me | Scoop.it

Each year, I find myself wanting to eat more fresh fruits and vegetables once it gets warm outside. I’m not sure if it is because many fruits and vegetables are ripe during the summer, or if it is just because I don’t want to cook, but any way I can eat something fresh, I will! However, when it comes to fruits like grapefruit and kiwi, they often end up in the bottom of the fruit drawer, uneaten, because eating grapefruit or kiwi the same way each time can get boring. So, I’ve put together a list for you of ways that you can use kiwi and grapefruit that are outside the spoon.

Before & After: 5 Famous Websites Get Fictional Makeovers

Before & After: 5 Famous Websites Get Fictional Makeovers | Creative_me | Scoop.it

The one time in my life I got a professional makeover, I was surprised at how much the little details mattered. Going into the makeover, I expected to walk out of it with crazy eye shadow colors, fake eyelashes, and bright red lipstick. I'm from New Jersey, so this was entirely possible. ;)

But when they first spun my chair around, I felt like I looked exactly like myself, only way better. My hair was the same cut and color, but had some nice volume to it. My makeup was subtle, yet accented all of my features in the right ways.

If you took a picture of me at that moment, you wouldn't have realized that the makeup artists had a very careful strategy in place to make me look like I normally would ... just more refined.
