A Must See Graphic on Creative Commons for Students ~ Educational Technology and Mobile Learning | Creative Commons | Scoop.it

"Creative Commons is a non-profit that helps sharing and reuse of creativity and knowledge via free legal and technological tools . These tools are not alternatives to copyright laws, rather they work alongside them.

Along with these seemingly infinite resources  has come a lot of confusion about how images and other content published online should be legally recognized, protected or used. As educators, we often struggle in navigating that road."

This post provides many resources that you might use with students, as well as a story about what may happen if a student uses an image that is under copyright.
