Mr P's ICT blog - iPads in the Classroom: Utilising the iPad to enhance Primary Science lessons | Creative arts in Primary Education | Scoop.it

"Many of my posts look at ways to use the iPads in Literacy and Numeracy to enhance learning and engage, motivate and inspire children. But how can using the iPad also help children in other subjects like Science, History or Geography? Here are some ideas about how using the iPad can help the children show, share and develop their learning in these subjects with a distinct focus on Science."

I think this one really speaks for itself, it is the old NSW creative arts syllabus.  Regardless of the fact that it will be soon out of date it has fantastic resources and ideas that all teachers should refer to (even while working with the Aust Cur.)  There are ideas for cross curricular activities but mainly it can be used as a spring board for all sorts of different activities for all KLAs.

iPads in Primary Education: Apps for Computer Science

iPads in Primary Education: Apps for Computer Science | Creative arts in Primary Education | Scoop.it

"As part of the proposed new draft primary curriculum for ICT, there is a significant emphasis on computer science. Below I've included a selection of apps which can be used in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The apps included range from basic skills in coding a Beebot to more advanced skills in coding games and simulations in apps such as Hopscotch and Codea.

I've also included some other useful 'ICT' apps, which can be used to develop pupil's typing skills and Spreadsheet skills."

This fantastic site is a hub for all things education through the creative arts.  It has links to appropriate websites along with resources and advice.  The site breaks up the creative arts into its four strands: drama, dance, music and art & gives specific information and links for each strand.  The information is stage specific as well which makes it very teacher friendly.  This site could be used as a great guide for teachers.
