Wearable Devices like SmartWatch and SmartGlass is the future of the smartest and intelligent computing. However, that is not the dead end. It is quite easy to predict that Flexible Display, potentially, can bring a revolution in the ecosystem of Business Computing. The combination of SmartWatch or SmartGlass as the computing engine and Flexible Display or PaperTab as the display unit can leverage the best suited computing platform for the personal and business computations of any complexity and workload.By maximum of another one year, the existing SmartWatch and SmartGlass will be transformed into the device with the power of today's enterprise server and that Wearable Computing Device would be named something like 'COMPULETS' .It will dominate the world of smartest and portable computing by end of the middle of 2014.To align with the futuristic growth of IT & electronic market, Microsoft and Apple are aiming at bring their own kind of SmartGlass and that may or may not be similar to Google Glass. In the same context, LG and Google are also trying to develop the SmartWatch independently.Henceforth, these two companies have to compete with other leaders like Samsung, Sony, Pebble & MetaWatch.Thenceforth, it will allow a doctor to have today's IBM Watson on his SmartWatch and that also      with multiple connectivity to the Flexible Display Devices like PaperTabs.

Facebook’s Commercialization Driving Users Away, Analyst Says - SocialTimes

Facebook’s Commercialization Driving Users Away, Analyst Says - SocialTimes | Creation News | Scoop.it

Jess Tracey's curator insight, March 18, 2013 11:20 PM

I agree that by Facebook bringing in more advertisements and sponsors is going to drive users away from the website. Already over the last year or so Facebook has added many new features such as sponsored ads on news feeds and many more advertisements which in some ways ruins the experience for users as they want to use it for social reasons, without being inudated with advertisements. As the article says, I also believe this is going to continue to drive users to other social media sites that dont have quite as many advertisements, such as instagram or twitter. Facebook needs to make some changes to this commercialization if they want to save what the company was originally known and loved for.

Charlotte Johnson's comment, March 19, 2013 2:45 AM
I agree, i use facebook less and less because i find their adds annoying. i understand that some form of advertising is how you generate money being a social media sight but i feel that facebook has just become greedy and are leaning away from their core objective of bringing people together. although facebook is a well loved 'brand' i feel that if they don't make changes someone else will, and their company will fade out just as my space and all the other social media websites have.
PHAM THU NGA's comment, March 19, 2013 6:28 PM
I understand from the user's point of view . Some users might not like the overload of the ads on their newsfeed. I don't really like so many ads appearing in my feeds but I'm fond of the 50% visual focus . Bigger pictures and videos look great. It's actually a improvement in consumer engagement in some way. Additionally, Facebook is business so undeniably they have to think about making profits as well. I agree that some Facebook users might decide to switch to another social media sites which less ads like Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram or Pinterest.
