I heard Danah Boyd interviewed on NPR and was intrigued by her findings on how teens use social media to gain privacy and independence from parents that has become nearly impossible to achieve. An interesting interpretation of some of the benefits of social media teen development.

I thought this article, more like paragraph and statistics clearly demonstrate the total amount of women taking over social media. I clearly understand that women have a higher rate then men because women tend to be emotional and they want sympathy from other women/girls for having issues, misunderstandings in their love life and personal general life. In my personal opinion I have experienced with my girlfriends dealing with things in their relationships whether good or bad. The rates for females are also probably higher because women/girls LOVE taking selfies. To me I would of expected a higher results than men. I find it normal.
