Cops for Kids Cold Calling Statement:


We have received some comments in regards to phone calls received in BC, soliciting donations on behalf of an organization with a similar name to Cops For Kids. Cops for Kids does not do cold calling, nor do we solicit by way of phone to community members that we do not know personally. If you hear of a call or receive a call please record the date, time, name and phone number of the individual calling if possible, especially if the telemarketer is aggressive or upsetting in any way. Please forward that information to Courtney at info@copsforkids.org.

 

Also, if you do not wish to be called again, you can call the organization at 1 (800) 378-0929, press 1 and ask for a supervisor and/or tell the caller to be placed on their DO NOT CALL LIST at the time of the calll.
