De grote uitdaging is om zakelijke waarde te halen uit al deze inspanningen en conversaties. Dit kan in 3 stappen:


  1. Zorg voor meeteenheden die iets te maken hebben met de strategie van jouw organisatie. CEO's denken niet in Likes en Shares, maar in Dollars of Euro's.
  2. Zorg dat je heldere voortgang meet. Definieer bijvoorbeeld wat 'engagement' betekent voor jouw organisatie, voordat je dit gaat meten.
  3. Prioriteer wat je meet. Sommige zaken zijn wellicht nog niet meetbaar, terwijl je andere punten wel goed kan meten.
