The Design Museum Shop has a new identity. Build's friendly, fun scheme (birdie) has been superseded by Spin's elegant, pared back approach. Graphic design in microcosm.

 

The introduction of the + symbol will be used to indicate the collaborative nature of the Shop in commissioning designers to produce products for it ie DESIGN MUSEUM SHOP + TERENCE CONRAN.

Launched: February 23, 2012

 

The Adani Group started in 1988, as a commodity trading firm. Today, it has grown to become one of India’s leading business houses, with operations in Australia and Indonesia and ambitious plans for international expansion.

 

A new wordmark-based logo, which in turn anchors an extensive visual system featuring a vocabulary of similarly rounded forms, a palette and a typeface called Adani (aka Rubrik, by Miles Newlyn).

 

The logo's distinctiveness, and special appeal, is in its modulated rainbow coloring. On one level this links to colors associated with Adani's three defining sectors; on another, it evokes the rich diversity of India itself.

The new logo, described as sophisticated and showing action, features a simple, orange "ZOO" sitting above a light purple "MT." Stepping through the last "O" is the silhouette of a grizzly bear, one of the zoo's most popular animal attractions.

 

Billings-based Kinetic Marketing and the zoo have been working on the new logo and campaign since October. 


"Take a walk on the wild side" was added as a tagline.

The new identity was created by the in-house teams at 4Creative and Box TV, a network of seven music Channels including 4 Music, Magic, The Box and Kerrang!, run by Channel 4 and media giant Bauer Media.

 

The new on-air identity encompasses a refreshed logo, on-screen branding and four new idents. The logo’s main colour of pink was retained, though blue and yellow have been added to denote three main functions of the channel - navigation, audience interaction and editorial. The simplified logo aims to emphasise the channel’s ‘pop’ bias.

Switzerlands' national broadcaster SRG SSR is launching a brand refresh today, February 29, as it starts broadcasting six new high-definition channels.

 

The new logos were reportedly created by RTS' in-house graphics studio. The RTS logo itself was created two years ago by Dunning Penney Jones as part of the rebrand of SRG SSR. The typeface was created by Dalton Maag.

After months of preparation, Waynesboro has a new eye-catching logo as part of the city’s rebranding process.

 

The logo is what Director of Tourism Katie McElroy calls a “fresh, updated” version of the old logo.

 

Waynesboro spent $13,500 on the rebrand, with all of the funds coming from a Virginia Tourism Corp. grant, and hired two consulting firms to work on the project, Arnett Muldrow & Associates of Greenville, S.C., and Frazier Associates of Staunton.
