It is a known fact that women love chocolate.
But according to Cadbury, they reported a drop in sales and they believe it’s because women are more diet-conscious, thus buying less chocolate.
In hopes of winning women back, Cadbury has released a brand new chocolate bar called ‘The Crispello’.
Aimed solely at women, the Crispello is the first new chocolate bar launched by the company since the 1990s and is backed by a $7 million British pounds advertising campaign, according to The Daily Mail.
The Crispello has three wafer shells with a creamy milk center and is coated in a layer of Cadbury’s chocolate.
It only contains 165 calories, and the company believes that it will appeal to women who are worried about putting on weight.
It will be sold in a re-sealable pack so women can eat it one piece at a time, instead of at one go.
The Crispello is expected to go on sale on 8 October 2012.
