Frigid temperatures have gripped Europe in the last week, with the mercury reaching as low as 35 degrees Celsius below zero. After what had been a relatively mild winter, the sudden cold caught many unprepared.
A photographer can actually get to take some beautiful pictures out from the most common things, like escalators. I find this particularly fresh and quite nice, considering the amount of beauty found in these photographs.
At the 2012 Light Festival in Ghent, Belgium, this 55,000 LED light cathedral stole the show. The light installation was made by Luminarie De Cagna, an Italian company specialized in building illuminations.
