This fall, we invite kids of all ages around the world to build something amazing out of cardboard, recycled materials and imagination.


In 2014, we teamed up with our friends and  (from LAIKA and Focus Features) for our 3rd Annual Global Cardboard Challenge. We also partnered with National Head Start Association to bring the Global Cardboard Challenge to Head Start Centers around the country! What will 2015 bring?

Inspired by the short film, ‘Caine’s Arcade’, the Global Cardboard Challenge is an annual event presented by the Imagination Foundation that celebrates child creativity and the role communities can play in fostering it. This September, kids of all ages are invited to build anything they can dream up using cardboard, recycled materials and imagination. Then on Saturday, October 10th, 2015, communities will come together to play!

Registration will open in the fall.
