Il y a un très joli travail à réaliser pour non seulement identifier les nouvelles data à collecter, mais aussi celles qui existent  déjà et qui pourraient être éditorialisée. Et pour cela il faut décloisonner : la technique et les belles histoires peuvent avancer main dans la main pour créer de l'adhésion et un impact.

My key take-away from this insightful post: "Our industry has to stop having rose colored glasses when it comes down to aligning business objectives with content."


I've experienced the very challenges described here, in which content and marketing are siloed, and technology teams and content developers collide instead of supporting one another. They all need to be in the same room, talking about how these intertwined functions together can create amazing opportunities for business.

According to a new infographic from global communications company M Booth and media measurement and analytics company Simply Measured, visual content is not only taking the online world by storm; it’s also driving engagement!

 

Here are some highlighted stats from the infographic that make the case:

 

On Facebook, videos are shared 12X more than links and text posts combined.
On Facebook, photos are liked 2X more than text updates.
42% of all Tumblr posts are photos. On YouTube, 100 million users are taking a social action on videos every week. Photo and video posts on Pinterest are referring more traffic than Twitter, StumbleUpon, LinkedIn, and Google+.
