Link Building, The SEO Scapegoat Ever since the Google Penguin update, link building has had a pretty shifty reputation. After the update, there was this sort of mass “take my site link down or I’ll disavow you” craze. It was insane. I’d bet we received well over 100 requests to take links to other sites off our pages.
