Social media is something that almost everyone uses and can give significant impact to people. Some people cannot differentiate what is and what is not appropriate to upload or publish hence it is good that everyone knows what and when to upload. Some people now days leave negative comments because of inappropriate posts which may lead to conflicts between people or hurting one's emotion. I feel that people should be sensitive when uploading a post so that negative impacts of social media will not worsen.

Almost everyone has social media accounts nowadays. But it stills narrow down to whether you are using it appropriately or not. Especially when the social medias are linked together, you would have to be careful on how you use it, as once the photos or status are online, everybody in the world would be able to see it.

This article goes in depth about specific twitter metrics that someone should take into account, and track to ensure that you have a good profile that is engaging to users.  Understanding the language is key so that you can measure stuff you understand such as terminology, hashtags, and other things.  Also you need to take a step back in the sense that social media can be overwhelming with so much going on, and you need to consider your ultimate business objectives and what you are trying to achieve.   Finally, you need to pick the metrics that matter, and you should focus on key metrics that will make your profile more effective.  For example, if you use Twitter for brand awareness and visibility, then tracking followers, mentions, and clicks to the site will be more effective and useful than response time.  In order to maintain social media success, you always need to keep tracking and measuring metrics.

A new study from the University of Houston does sort of throw a wrench into that line of thinking, though: it found that readers are more likely to remember things like, say, your client’s name and the products they sell when this information appears in print.

 

Here’s the key finding: after reading for 20 minutes and being asked to recall as many articles as possible:

Print-only readers recalled 4.24 stories on averageOnline readers recalled an average of 3.35 stories

 

Interestingly, the gap grew even wider when it concerned the topics discussed in those stories and the main points made. Vox turned it all into a graph if you want to check out a visual representation....

The billboard was emblazoned with the headline, "Probably the best poster in the world." The brand was on hand to monitor the drinkers, making sure no one was under 18....
