My interaction with Native Advertising has always inspired distrust. I think a clear delineation between marketing and journalism/PR is ultimately healthier for both consumer and marketer. Consumers will usually justify their emotional impulse to advertising with 'harder facts' and 'reasons to believe' found in journalism and public opinion; when you blur the line, it becomes a lot harder to navigate these unique decision making spaces.

4 Secrets of Effective Brand Storytelling Across Channels | Say Daily

4 Secrets of Effective Brand Storytelling Across Channels | Say Daily | Content Marketing | Scoop.it

"Today, audiences have much of the power, choosing where and when to engage with branded content (if at all). So brands must not only have a good grasp of how to unearth a brand story, but how to tell that story across a variety of channels. Both are tasks that don’t come naturally to many brands."
