Making a living in Canada has been going downhill after Communism died in Russia - now we can but unions - and when shareholder value become the end all, i.e. corporations only goal now is "shareholder value". Read up on Mr. T. Bone Pickens and his Texas billionaire friends and the damage caused. Life was very good in the '50's and '60's in Canada. You could get a job and live decently. Not any more.

Rick Mercer devoted his rant Tuesday night to eviscerating the prime minister and his government for plans to change Canada's copyright laws to explicitly allow the use of news footage in political ads without permission.
