Connectedness gives opportunities to diversify and innovate.

When Salvatore Iaconesi was diagnosed with brain cancer, he put his medical records online and invited the world to help find a cure

 

-he is well known (at least more known that most people)
-he had the capability to use technology is ways most people don't
-his problem evokes emotions
-a belief is being open
-the open source allow people who have similar ideas to connect with one another. .
