Breaking things with RabbitMQ 3.3

What? Another "breaking things" post? Well, yes, but hopefully this should be less to deal with than the previous one. But there are enough slightly incompatible changes in RabbitMQ 3.3.0 that it's worth listing them here.

Couchbase brings NoSQL power to mobile apps
Java World
(Quick -- what's the difference between Neo4j and Riak?) If Couchbase's strategy is to center around mobile apps and disconnected functionality, that may be a useful niche.

Finding bottlenecks with RabbitMQ 3.3 | Concurrent Life | Scoop.it
One of the goals for RabbitMQ 3.3 was that you should be able to find bottlenecks in running systems more easily. Older versions of RabbitMQ let you see that you were rate-limited but didn't easily let you see why.

Many developers have gotten used to powerful tools such as IDE's on other platforms. For Erlang developers emacs can have as much or more power by combining emacs lisp and distel with native Erlang code.
Brent Hoover's insight:

One of my issues has always been getting the frictionless environment I can get while doing Java/Python/C#, etc. Any steps in that direction are welcome.
