Yes, this. Solving for the tragedy of the commons... only a problem if you willfully ignore or remove community standards/social controls on selfish behavior. ,':)

 

And when we choose community standards that not only normalize, but idealize, enable, and reward this kind of selfish behavior as an exemplar of success, then, yeah, we end up with a tragedy....
