The  Center for Mindfulness at the University of California, San Diego is now offering on demand videos from their programs. Topics include stress management for caregivers of those with brain tumors, the relationship between stress and pain management, and an interview with MBSR-founder, Jon Kabat-Zinn, MD. The Center for Mindfulness is affiliated with UCSD's Center for Integrative Medicine and Department of Psychiatry, offering programs that foster the integration of mindfulness practices in clinical and educational settings.

As a 20-year practitioner of mindfulness meditation, and the researcher/author of Insomnia Relief Recipes several years ago, I am intimately familiar with the major impact that meditation can have in resolving sleep problems.  I am delighted to share this article by Ruth Buczynski about a study comparing the results of meditation versus medication to help people sleep better -- there really is a better, safer way to get the sleep you need, and it's not spelled medication.
