1) Amazon is a widely known public corporation that is aiming to improve their products by working with OverDrive, a private corporation.

It is said that "Amazon is working with OverDrive, the leading provider of digital content solutions for over 11,000 public and educational libraries in the United States, to bring a seamless library borrowing experience to Kindle customers."

2) The benefits of this relationship between Amazon and OverDrive is that consumers would be able to read borrowed books on any of their Kindle applications. This addition to Amazon's Kindle will help encourage and promote their sales on their Kindle products.

The article states that, "borrowing library books could lead to more ebook sales from users who couldn’t finish a book in time, or wanted to revisit a particular title that they’ve borrowed."

This is one of the many strategies Amazon is using to promote their sales when teaming up with OverDrive. By giving the consumers more options to use on their Kindle products, it will definitely spark some interests in consumers to buying their products.
