By popular demand the recently released, and highly applauded film, Mary Meets Mohammad, will be screened again in Launceston.

It follows the arrival of the first detainees at Tasmania’s Pontville detention centre. The story is told through the eyes of local Christian woman, and knitting club member, Mary, and Muslim Afghan Hazara asylum seeker, Mohammad, as they connect through the gift of a knitted beanie.
*Funds raised from these screenings will be used by the Rotary Club of Launceston to support the Launceston Community Garden project – a joint initiative of the Migrant Resource Centre (Nthn Tas) and the Launceston City Council.
