Future Canada has the same health care for all and self-driving cars, group says

Nicholas Patrie's curator insight, December 17, 2014 2:09 PM

So it looks like people of Canada want a huge change. they want the voting age to be lowered to 16 and change the justice system. Even ask for better electricity systems and equal health care for all since the health care they have can be pretty bad for many of they people who don't have a lot of money. Many of them don't get the same and it can prove deathly. But on a smaller scale of things that could come in the far future would be self driving cars. As cool as that would be you would have to think there would be so many problems. Electrical and computers are always having bugs and malfunctions. If these self driven cars where to get messed up there would be so many accidents and traffic problems. I personally love to drive but i can't speak for all the people in Canada but for now driving yourself where you are in control would be the best bet.

Medicine Hat on track to become first Canadian city to end chronic homelessness

Medicine Hat on track to become first Canadian city to end chronic homelessness | Community | Scoop.it

While other Canadian municipalities can learn from Medicine Hat’s successes, Rogers said the community will not truly be successful in ending homelessness until all communities across the province, and the country, have also moved the homeless into houses.

“The fact we live in Alberta of all provinces and have this many homeless people is sad,” Rogers said.

“We forget that those numbers and those peoples have families and stories. No one wakes up one day and goes, ‘today is the day I want to be homeless.’ ”
