I supposed twitter can be used or any tool can be used for anything, but some tools are made with certain intended affordance by the creator that would make the tool less effective for certain functions. curation in a way is capturing things void of time (i probably drawing too much from museum), while twitter is fast pace timeline of interactive (or one way) discourse.... they seems to be inherently different.

i'm just automatically sceptical when 'one tool can be use for all' theme appear. but it is an interesting suggestion.

Many people learn one tool and then move on to others. I like to analyze each and use the best features of that particular 2.0 project. I use twitter as a push tool to share info for the most part.

Educational Technology and Mobile Learning: Awesome Poster on Bloom's Revised Taxonomy

Educational Technology and Mobile Learning: Awesome Poster on Bloom's Revised Taxonomy | Common Core and Blom's Digital Taxonomy | Scoop.it

Med Kharback:

I just got this poster from a fellow teacher featuring the 6 thinking skills as outlined in the revised taxonomy. As you probably know, Blooms taxonomy that was first created in the 1950s has been revised by Krathwohl and there are two  main changes that appeared in this revised taxonomy: the first one is semantic in that nouns are now being replaced with verbs; and the second change relates to the order of these thinking skills. In the old taxonomy, Bloom highlighted the importance of evaluating and therefore placed it at the top of the  thinking continuum, but for Krathwohl Creating is the highest order thinking skill.

Curation is a natural for teachers and Librarians.  I also hope it becomes a process that is commonly taught to kids.  It's a great way to follow your curiosity and build something useful and meaningful from the research process.
