Scoop.it!

Welcome everyone!

Welcome everyone! | Comicsforkids | Scoop.it

Welcome to Clare's SCOOP on Comics for Kids. Here you will find lots of ideas and links to all things to do with reading, enjoying and creating your own comics.

I have also included links to Safe Searching websites, fact and image finders to help you find content for your comics.

Please Note: all the actual web pages that are linked to here are suitable for children. However, other parts of the website might need adult supervision. For example, creating your own comic strip using an online comic maker is fine but if you go to the gallery or showcase on that same website you may see other comics made by other people that you don't like the look of. Usually you have to create an account and log in to see the gallery or showcase and you would need an email address to do this - IF IN ANY DOUBT - PLEASE ASK AN ADULT for ADVICE - simple! :-)

Have fun!!

Create your own LEGO style avatars here for free. Really useful for PSHE activities - your character can say how they 'feel' about things. Use in comics, for creative writing, make into puppets, for art projects or display and good for disguising online identities.

In the kitchen, the colour of the worktops, fridge and floors can all be modified.

The Cookit creator is very intuitive; however, full instructions on its use can be downloaded from the site.
