Did you like the speech? Why or Why not?
I really liked the speech because Joseph Kim explained the truth about North Korea. The speech was really emotional because Joseph lost all of his family members and he wanted to know if his sister is still alive.
What did you learn from watching this speaker?
This speech taught me that not everyone in this world has the freedom that we have. To some of them, they don't even know what freedom is because many of them were born in jail. The chance of escaping from the prison was so slight that only one person can escape out of 20 other people.
How will you utilize what you learned in your everyday life?
I will be thankful for the freedom that I have. I live in a world where I have freedom of speech meaning that I can express what I think and not get in trouble for it. Not everyone has this in their life and an example would be the speaker Joseph Kim in this Ted talk.
Will you adopt any strategies you observed the speaker using during their speech?
I will put more emotions into my speech just like Joseph Kim did because the audience will be more engaged in your speech. He spoke slowly as well which allowed him to express and pronounce each word clearly.
