A learning management system allows the students to view lectures that may be live or pre-recorded. This allows the student to view and listen to the lecture and it is a well known fact that information that is gathered using both audio and visual aids is retained better in the brain.

The evolution of the concept of collaborative learning was to devise a simplistic yet a very interesting method to achieve the academic goals with ease. Under this system of teaching and learning the students are grouped and paired to achieve certain predetermined academic goals. This leads to active participation and greater interest among the participants.
