The Kremlin has stepped up efforts to win over Crimean Tatars ahead a referendum on March 16 on whether the Black Sea peninsula should become part of Russia.

Swedish Public Service reports that Crimea Tatars will suffer if Ukraine is not controlling Crimea. Is this true then?

Here is what's reported from Radio Free Europe.

"On March 11, the Crimean parliament passed a resolution declaring it will “guarantee the rights of the Crimean Tatar nation and its integration into Crimean society."

So why is Swedish Public News telling the Swedes that the situation for Crimea Tatars got vorse when in fact Russia and even Putin had disussions with the leaders of Crimea Tatars to show them a good will?

Then answer must be that Swedish Public Service is biased.
